The Big Ask: Our Capital Campaign

We're Building our own School

Since its creation in 2000, the lion’s share of Fresh & Green Academy’s operating cost has been Rent. This year we’re building a new school on land granted by the government, so we can redirect those funds to programs for our students and their mothers. We’re raising half a million dollars.

Invest in the Future

Name your Classroom

We are offering you the chance to inscribe your legacy on one of our classrooms or facilities as a Founder. Donating $25,000 will allow you to name an educational space after your family, your company, or in memory of a family member. If you prefer to be one of our Builders, then $10,000 will include your name on a plaque prominently displayed in the lobby of our new school.

A Design for Knowledge

Our school design was dictated by the Ministry of Education and incorporates all of the space, technology and playground facilities you would want a child of your own to have. Have a look through our plans and picture yourself in the schoolyard – one day you may actually be there on a trip with our volunteers! (Click button below – building plans are large and may take time to load)

What Drives Us

Our Mission

Our mission is to support Fresh & Green Academy through fundraising and promotion of the endeavours of the Mothers Cooperative. We aim to deliver our services to the school in person when we can, in order to assist its growth and maintenance. We hope to involve many volunteers in our events and trips so that they can share in the success and vision of school founder and director Muday Mitiku
