Here’s what Fresh & Green Academy has accomplished thanks to ChariTree Foundation, an environmental education cause and registered Canadian charity. Their generosity has allowed the children and staff to participate twice in Ethiopia’s Green Legacy program to re-forest the country. 2023 is the third year in a row the children have been able to learn about how their own efforts help to green the planet, all thanks to the support of Charitree.
The students and teachers planted on the grounds of their own future school in Akaki and on complementary grounds in nearby Hayat. Imagine being a teacher and standing under a tree that you tell your students you planted when you were their age!
